'Tis the Season

We LOVE the Christmas season here in New England. It's kind of hard to deny the feeling when the crisp, chilly weather blows in and the air wafts of wood stoves burning. We have had an unusually mild fall and really have not dropped much below 50 during the day so far, so we took the opportunity to get our Christmas lights up early (you know, before our fingers are freezing off as we untangle lights). Our annual tradition is to cut down our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving, but unfortunately, it was a little rainy that day so we waited for the weekend. We had a great time trekking out to the field and Clayton REALLY got into it this year. He also practically decorated the entire (bottom) of the tree - nice! Here's the picture story...enjoy!
