Steve, Clay, Carla, and some of their good friends, Jenna, Lou, and Arden Paglia enjoyed a wonderful week in beautiful Maui right after Christmas. While we broke up the trip and met Lela Chris, Lolo Bill, and Auntie Cathy in Las Vegas for a few days, the Paglias flew straight through from Newark and picked us up at the airport. It was so nice to be away although a little bit of morning sickness for Carla was a small bummer! We actually thought our New Year's Eve luau was going to be rained out (the first day or so it was overcast and rainy), but the night proved to be perfect as was the rest of the week.
We enjoyed lots of yummy food by the pool and in town, walks on the beach, a whale watch, shopping, more eating, and some snorkeling and snubaing (sp?) too! The kids had a great time playing in the sand building turtles and digging holes and we all enjoyed a little R&R!
