Happy Thanksgiving, Go NAVY, and Our 1st Snow!

It's been a busy few days here! We had the wonderful chance to get together with some of Steve's b-school friends and their families over the weekend in DC. Everyone went to the NAVY football game in Annapolis on Saturday and then we spent the night with the Le family and got up early Sunday morning to check out the mall and monuments in DC. It was especially touching to see the new WWII Memorial; Steve's grandfather fought in several of the battles pictured in our slideshow.

After we arrived home (and were enjoying some unseasonable warm weather) we woke up Monday morning to a little bit of snow falling. Clayton was very excited to go outside and try his new boots - crunching and even eating the snow were on the top of his to do list.

We celebrated Thanksgiving at our new house - now fully decorated for the holidays. We will finish up by getting our pokey blue spruce tomorrow in an effort to deter little hands! Before we had dinner we went out to watch the oldest road race in the country since the course is just a block from our house. The pictures will show you how fun that was! We had lots of friends and family to cheer on so it was a lot of fun. Dinner was delicious and everyone contributed - we even had a pecan pie with pecans from Lela Chris and Lolo Bill's pecan tree - YUM!!! We are all very thankful for so much and especially all of our friends and family who we care about so deeply!

Enjoy the pictures!
