Enjoying Fall and Clay's Elvis Debut

We have been absolutely blessed this past few weeks with gorgeous weather and it is almost hard to believe we live on the east coast. Fall has arrived late this year and we have been enjoying spending copious amounts of time outside, at the playground, in the leaves, and now on our bicycles since we installed a child seat which Clayton loves. He insists we "sit down" and "wear our helmets!" I guess we know what we sound like!

Today was the annual parade for Clay's gymnastics class. All of the kiddos dressed up and marched around in their costumes. Clayton was a trooper, even keeping on his afro wig (he went as a disco dancer) and loved every minute until we had to put back the instruments. He perked back up again when he found out that all of the kids got to pick a pumpkin from the patch behind the building - a neat treat!

In other news, we all traveled to Annapolis this past weekend for Steve's 10th college reunion. Steve's comment was that his class is procreating well! There were tons of kids all right about Clay's age and a really good turnout of probably 500 or so. The tailgater party was held in a HUGE tent near the stadium and the only bummer was that Navy lost the game. We had a great time and enjoyed beautiful weather, though and it was nice to catch up with some old friends.

Other pictures in this group include our hayride with Glamma's class (Clay loved picking turnips and feeding the oxen and goats), a couple from Steve stepmother's birthday party in New Jersey, a trip to the science museum with some friends, and Auntie Stacy's visit last weekend! We kept Auntie Stacy very busy and brought her to the Apple Festival and all around town! It was great to see her.
